'Hand & Lock Prize for Embroidery 2016'

The most recent project created by Eranga was unveiled at the historic Bishopsgate Institute, London along with the 24 finalists’ work from around the world. Live public vote combined with the judges scores established the winners for 2016.
Bronze award for the Prize for Embroidery open category was awarded to Eranga, who received the award two times in 2014 and 2011. The jury was composed of the embroidery world’s elite from London College of Fashion, Royal school of Needlework, Embroiders Guild and V&A Museum.
Hand & Lock, embroidery atelier to worldwide fashion houses, the British Royal forces and the Royal family has been running the prestigious international embroidery prize since 2000.
